PALATINE, Ill. — Several residents displaced by a fire in Palatine last weekend have created GoFundMe pages to help with expenses.
The fire broke out around 6 p.m. Sunday at the Windhaven Condominiums located on East Dundee Quarter Drive.
Several units in the building reported fire and water damage.
Below are a list of the GoFundMe pages that have been created.

Additionally, community members are organizing a donation drive in coordination with Partners For Our Communities:

• NEW Underwear and Socks
• Personal and Feminine Hygiene Products
• Food Gift Cards
• Snacks and Water
If you have any of these items, students can bring them to the main office at PHS.
Items can also be dropped off at the following locations:
• Community Resource Center (1585 N. Rand Rd. Palatine)
• District 15 Main Office (580 N 1st Bank Rd., Palatine)
• Stuart R. Paddock Elementary School (225 W. Washington St., Palatine)
• Winston Campus Junior High School (120 N. Babcock Dr., Palatine)
There will also be a donation drive-thru at Christ Lutheran Church at 41 S. Rohlwing Road in Palatine on Monday, March 27, and Tuesday, March 28 between 10 am and 2 pm.
