Three people were taken into custody this afternoon after a bank robbery in Homewood.

According to the FBI, the robbery took place at the Bank of America in the 18000 block of Governors Highway around 10:30 a.m.

Two people, who were armed, entered the bank and took money from bank employees.

One person was taken into custody shortly after the robbery.  And, after a search, two others were apprehended around 2:30 p.m. in the parking lot of an apartment building near the bank.

No injuries were reported at the bank.

Charges are pending.
