While Blackhawks players were on the way home from Boston, some fans in Chicago took their celebrating a little too far.

Chicago Police News Affairs tells WGN that 23 people were arrested across the city overnight. Most were arrested for disorderly and reckless conduct, police said. A few were arrested for fighting.

Police said 21 tickets were issued for less nonviolent crimes.

Police did not have a breakdown of the neighborhoods where the arrests and tickets occurred.
