Everyone knows that Elliott Bambrough can eat… oh boy, can that guy eat! So, when it came time to pick his favorite meals of 2016 the list was a bit longer than we had time and/or space for.  We tasked him with whittling it down to his top 5 and you know our boy came through!

Without further ado (and in no particular order), here are Elliott’s top 5 favorite meals of 2015:

The Duck Inn: Date night just got an upgrade! This award winning restaurant serves up whole rotisserie duck cut to share, signature cocktails, and a genius take on the famous Chicago-style hotdog.

El Solazo: If your love for endless protein is as insatiable as mine, order the Parrillada. You can’t beat the mountains of mouthwatering goodness at this modern Mexican spot on Pulaski.

Boba Burger: Tucked away in the belly of a Morton Grove bowling alley is one of the area’s best burger joints. Fusion is the name of the game and none come better than the Lechon Burger- replete with pork belly, fried onions, and BBQ sauce- this baby is a STRIKE!

Palermo’s of 63rd: You knew my best of 2016 list wouldn’t be complete without pizza! In-house homemade sausage, signature sweet sauce, and every inch of wall space decked out with local and national celebs- you’ll be in good company!

Little Bad Wolf: Tacos, bao, burgers, and mussels- this is the kind of place everyone can agree on for dinner. It doesn’t hurt that the quality is exceptional, the ambiance is hip, and the kitchen stays open till 2 am!
