Ted’s Take: I can walk a few blocks from my office and get an outstanding Torta from Xoco. I love the carnitas or the short ribs, however, it’s not very cheap. So I found a mexican market that does a giant chorizo or carnitas torta for less than $5! Everything is fresh from the meat case in the store and it’s made to order. Bold flavors, cheap eats and you can even pick up some fabric softener and cereal while you’re there!
