Ted’s Take: Size matters at Schmaltz’s. That’s why one of their biggest sandwiches is a beast literally. The Maccabeast. Here me roar. Hot pastrami, a hot dog, homemade deli mustard all on a Jewish rye bun. Yum. After eating this, you won’t have to eat for 8 days. If the Maccabeast isn’t enough for you, the Sloppy Paul is always a great alternative. Marbelled rye, swiss cheese, saurkraut and 3/4 lb. of corned beef. It’s a fist full.
