The publisher of Penthouse Magazine and a local club owner are together set to open ‘Caligula’, a steakhouse featuring burlesque shows in west suburban Stone Park, according to Crain’s Chicago Business.
Opus Entertainment owner Perry Orr told Crain’s it will be modeled after a Roman palace, “With Caligula and all the different emperors of Rome, we have a lot of material to work with. It should be a lot of fun.”
In a press release from Penthouse Publisher General Media Communications, Inc., the company says the 17,000 square foot adult club, “will target a more mid-range audience than the upscale Penthouse-branded clubs.”
Caligula is expected to open by the end of this year.
