A Milwaukee mother is speaking out after after she discovered that there was more than just juice inside her son’s juice box.

Everything looked normal when Suzanne Hogue squeezed the contents of a juice box into a cup. But her son has autism, and he couldn’t tell her that everything was not normal with his drink.

When Hogue opened the juice box, she discovered mold inside.

The discovery prompted an investigation by our sister station WITI.

WITI found out that it really doesn’t matter the brand of juice box — mold can grow anywhere air gets into. The problem is the packaging. A simple Google search will yield tons of reports and videos of other parents finding the same thing.
