Ted’s take: In my humble opinion, there is no wrong way to do a pizza. Clearly, people in Chicago disagree. However, this regional show gives us the opportunity to showcase the pride of other cities. New York pizza is quite simple; thin crust that’s crunchy on the bottom, but a bit chewy, not a lot of sauce and it’s cut into triangles for the patented fold and bite method.
Mark Greenbaum opened this joint to honor his father, a native New Yorker. Dad would be proud because it really tastes authentic. Order the Spicy pie which has nice kick and a hearty portion of pepperoni and sausage. Fuhgetaboutit!
