Ted’s take: I love Cuban food. I love anything pork-related, so Habana Libre was a layup! David Rodriguez and his mother run an eatery that is so authentic, I had to check for my passport. The appetizer extraordinaire we made were the Tostones Rellenos; seasoned pork served in a fried plantain cup! Bueno!! I also can’t forget the Plato de la Abuela, or “Grandma’s Plate”; an old-school dinner with seasoned pork, black beans, rice and other tasty sides. Friendly staff and BYOB make this place a true winner!
